Who processes MTAs at Yale University?

Incoming MTAs and Outgoing MTAs to academic and non-profit institutions are negotiated and signed by the Grant & Contract Administration (GCA) Office.

a) Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health: The Office of Grant and Contract Administration at the School of Medicine reviews and processes all Incoming MTAs, and Outgoing MTAs from Yale to academic and not-for-profit institutions for the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health.

b) Central Campus Schools and Departments: The Central Campus Office of Grant and Contract Administration has responsibility for administration of Material Transfer Agreements for investigators in all central campus schools and departments. Outgoing MTAs to commercial and for-profit institutions are negotiated by the Office of Cooperative Research (OCR). Inquiries should be forwarded to OCR@yale.edu, or call OCR at 203-436-8096 (Central Campus) or 203-785-6209 (School of Medicine). (See: http://www.yale.edu/ocr/ )
